Welcome to the National Strategy for Critical Infrastructure renewal consultation!

Photo of Minister BlairPhoto of Minister MendicinoCanadians rely on the services and functions provided by critical infrastructure (CI) every day. Our food, water, electricity, transportation, communications, and more are all delivered by CI.

Since the release of the National Strategy for Critical Infrastructure (National Strategy) in 2009, Canada has faced an increasingly complex threat environment. While technological innovation has led to efficiencies and better services, cyber threat actors, climate change and a variety of other risks challenge the resilience of our CI systems.

The National Strategy renewal consultation is an opportunity for CI stakeholders, including CI owners and operators, as well as all levels of government, and experts from across the country to share their views and shape Canada’s approach to CI resilience for years to come.

Thank you for your interest and for taking the time to participate in the consultation. We look forward to hearing from you!
